With a population of 5,255 (2005) and around 200 businesses, Liberty Lake is a quickly growing Community. Located 17 miles East of Spokane and just 2 miles from the Idaho border, it is a quick drive away from both Spokane and Coeur d' Alene. There are a wide range of businesses in Liberty Lake including high tech and manufacturing companies, banks, dental, medical and veterinary offices, resturants, hotels, auto shops, grocery stores, daycares, and insurance agencies. Liberty Lake has it's own newspaper, The Splash, which covers current events and concerns of the Liberty Lake community. There are three beautiful golf courses, as well as an abundance of walking and biking trails.
